ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,380,583, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to SNAP INC. (Santa Monica, Calif.).

"Continuous surface and depth estimation" was invented by Olha Borys (Vienna), Ilteris Kaan Canberk (Marina Del Rey, Calif.), Daniel Wagner (Vienna) and Jakob Zillner (Absdorf, Austria).
