ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,418,150, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to SMK Corp. (Tokyo).

"Electrical connector, method for manufacturing electrical connector, and method for mounting electrical connector" was invented by Yasuo Yoshiura (Kanagawa, Japan) and Kensuke Watanabe (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electrical connector includes: a case including an accommodation part that accommodates a receptacle, a front wall part, a restriction part, and an engagement part that retain the receptacle in the accommodation part, a contact part that makes contact with a mounting surface, and a communication hole that is extended upward from the accommodation part...
