US Patent Issued to Smith & Nephew, Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics, Smith & Nephew Asia Pacific on April 15 for "Combination electrosurgical and mechanical resection device" (Massachusetts, Texas Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,274,493, issued on April 15, was assigned to Smith & Nephew Inc. (Memphis, Tenn.), Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics AG (Zug, Switzerland) and Smith & Nephew Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. (Singapore).

"Combination electrosurgical and mechanical resection device" was invented by Sean Doll (Cedar Park, Texas), Bob Lathrop (Lawrence, Mass.) and Craig Di-Stefano (Andover, Mass.).
