ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,355,240, issued on July 8, was assigned to Smart Wires Inc. (Durham, N.C.).

"Failure detection within a group of power flow control modules" was invented by Michael Thomas Garrison Stuber (Newman Lake, Wash.) and Adeel Ahmad Khan (Lahore, Pakistan).
