ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,288,963, issued on April 29, was assigned to SMART PHOTONICS HOLDING B.V. (Eindhoven, Netherlands).

"Monolithically integrated InP electro-optically tunable ring laser, a laser device as well as a corresponding method" was invented by Stefanos Andreou (Eindhoven, Netherlands) and Erwin Antonius Josephus Maria Bente (Nuenen, Netherlands).
