According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A modular stackable bunk (1) having an elongate base (3), an elongate roof (10), a pair of ends (4, 5) spaced apart by a pair of sides (6, 7), at least partially connecting said base to said roof to form a living space (11). At least one raised portion (12) extends along said base and/or roof and adapted to elevate said base and/or roof away from a floor surface and/or another bunk.
