ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,483,205, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Skyworks Solutions Inc. (Irvine, Calif.).

"Power amplifier junction temperature clamp" was invented by Philip John Lehtola (Cedar Rapids, Iowa).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A clamp circuit comprises a first diode stack comprising one or more diodes and an array comprising a second diode stack comprising one or more diodes and a comparator configured to compare a first voltage at the first diode stack to a second voltage at the second diode stack."

The patent was filed on Sept. 28, 2022, under Application No. 17/955,345.
