ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,470,179, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to Skyworks Solutions Inc. (Irvine, Calif.).
"RF transceiver front end module with improved linearity" was invented by Ziv Alon (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) and Maxwell L. Thomas (Newbury Park, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A power amplifier system front end measures both forward and reverse power associated with an RF transmit signal. A processor is configured to use measurements derived from the measured forward and reverse power output to adjust the RF transmit signal in order to compensate for one or more memory effects of the power amplifier system."
