ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,415,635, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Skydio Inc. (San Mateo, Calif.).

"Base stations for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)" was invented by Christopher C. Berthelet (Sunnyvale, Calif.), Shreetej Varakantam Reddy (San Mateo, Calif.), Ioan Trayanov (San Francisco), Dylan Matthew Callaway (San Francisco) and Yevgeniy Kozlenko (Mountain View, Calif.).
