ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,276,501, issued on April 15, was assigned to Skydio Inc. (San Mateo, Calif.).

"Control point identification and reuse system" was invented by Bernard J. Michini (San Francisco), Brett Michael Bethke (Millbrae, Calif.) and Hui Li (San Francisco).
