ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,436,857, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to SK hynix Inc. (Gyeonggi-do, South Korea).

"Storage device executing error check on memory block in which firmware is stored, system and operating method of the storage device" was invented by Chang Han Kim (Gyeonggi-do, South Korea).
