ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,215,122, issued on Feb. 4, was assigned to Singular Genomics Systems Inc. (San Diego).

"Nucleotide analogues" was invented by Ronald Graham (Carlsbad, Calif.), Olga Adelfinskaya (San Marcos, Calif.), Megha Cila (San Diego), Rodrigo Rodriguez (San Diego), Abrehet Abdu (San Diego) and Eli N. Glezer (Del Mar, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein, inter alia, are compounds, compositions, and methods of using the same for the sequencing of a nucleic acid."

The patent was filed on Nov. 29, 2023, under Application No. 18/522,886.
