ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,478,963, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Singleron Biotechnologies Inc. (Woodbridge, Conn.).

"Controlled cell-cell interaction assay" was invented by Jing Zhou (Woodbridge, Conn.), Janaki Acharya (Woodbridge, Conn.), Peter Cyrus Torab (Woodbridge, Conn.) and Zhengyue Li (Woodbridge, Conn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein include methods, devices, kits, and systems for nucleic acid sequencing, for example, to determine cell-cell interaction using a dielectrophoresis microfluidic device."

The patent was filed on Aug. 26, 2022, under Application No. 17/822,562.
