ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,277,966, issued on April 15, was assigned to Silicon Motion Inc. (Hsinchu County, Taiwan).

"Memory access module for performing a plurality of sensing operations to generate digital values of a storage cell in order to perform decoding of the storage cell" was invented by Tsung-Chieh Yang (Hsinchu, Taiwan), Hsiao-Te Chang (Hsinchu County, Taiwan) and Wen-Long Wang (Hsinchu, Taiwan).
