ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,270,627, issued on April 8, was assigned to SIG SAUER INC. (Newington, N.H.).

"Sight having flexible target adjust" was invented by Christopher J. Boudreau (Estacada, Ore.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A target sight for a firearm includes a main body, an elongated, flexible emitter carrier having a first end fixed to the main body and having a movable portion at a second end opposite the first end, and a light emitter mounted to the movable portion of the flexible emitter carrier."

The patent was filed on Dec. 2, 2022, under Application No. 18/074,359.
