ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,247,987, issued on March 11, was assigned to Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc. (Tarrytown, N.Y.).
"Methods for detection of aberrant results caused by incomplete dispersion of immunoassay reagent" was invented by Tie Wei (Wilmington, Del.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods of detecting and flagging and/or suppressing aberrant results caused by incomplete dispersion of an immunoassay reagent used in a turbidimetric immunoassay are disclosed."
