ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,297,801, issued on May 13, was assigned to Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy A/S (Brande, Denmark).

"Method for connecting two wind turbine blade portions, method for producing a wind turbine, and method for connecting two molded portions" was invented by Soeren Randrup Daugaard Henrichsen (Vodskov, Denmark) and Mogens Nielsen (Aalborg, Denmark).
