ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,332,222, issued on June 17, was assigned to SIELC Technologies Corp. (Wheeling, Ill.).

"Liquid chromatography method for compounds having a sulfate group" was invented by Yury Zelechonok (Northbrook, Ill.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for analyzing compounds having a sulfate group using liquid chromatography separation employs a cation-exchange column and a mobile phase with a high concentration of organic components including positively charged cations lacking more than one electron."

The patent was filed on Dec. 19, 2021, under Application No. 17/555,470.
