ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,313,376, issued on May 27, was assigned to Sheltered Wings Inc. (Barneveld, Wis.).
"Viewing optic" was invented by Seth Toy (Barneveld, Wis.) and Rob Morell (Barneveld, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A viewing optic has a housing having a front side containing an optical element, a rear side containing a rear cover, a left side, a right side a top side and top side. A control is positioned on the top side. The viewing optic may be a miniature red dot sight, such as a closed red dot sight."
The patent was filed on Sept. 9, 2021, under Application No. 17/470,613.
