ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,378,175, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to SHELL USA INC. (Houston).

"Process for the preparation of ethylene glycol" was invented by Koen Wolf (Amsterdam), Timothe Johannes Olthof (Amsterdam), Eugene Marie Godfried Andre Van Kruchten (Amsterdam) and Daniel Maurice Lorimer (Amsterdam).
