ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,508,276, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to Sheau-Long Lee (Taoyuan, Taiwan).

"Use of ginsenoside M1 for treating Huntington's disease" was invented by Sheau-Long Lee (Taoyuan, Taiwan), Kuo-Feng Hua (I-Lan, Taiwan) and Yu-Chieh Lee (Taoyuan, Taiwan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Use of ginsenoside M1 for manufacturing a medicament for treating Huntington's disease (HD) in a subject in need; and a pharmaceutical composition for use in treating HD comprising ginsenoside M1 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier."

The patent was filed on April 23, 2019, under Application No. 16/960,932.
