ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,359,356, issued on July 15, was assigned to Shaw Industries Group Inc. (Dalton, Ga.).

"Yarn with sections having different aesthetic characteristics, articles comprising same, and methods of making said yarn and articles" was invented by Tansley Cornwell (Rome, Ga.), Stephen D. Phillips (Rocky Face, Ga.) and Christopher S. Bryant (Rocky Face, Ga.).
