ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,342,674, issued on June 24, was assigned to Sharp K.K. (Sakai, Japan).
"Light-emitting element and display device" was invented by Yoshihiro Ueta (Sakai, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A light-emitting element includes an anode, an HTL, an EML, an ETL, and a cathode layered in this order, the HTL includes at least one protruding portion protruding in a layering direction, and an IL overlapping the protruding portion in a plan view is provided between the protruding portion and the EML."
