ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,369,450, issued on July 22, was assigned to Sharp K.K. (Sakai, Japan).
"Light-emitting element" was invented by Yukio Takenaka (Sakai, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A light-emitting element includes an anode electrode, cathode electrode, an EML, and an HTL. The HTL includes a hole transport material, and a first polymer containing a polysiloxane bond in the main chain and having a functional group including a Pi-conjugated electron pair in a side chain of the first polymer."
The patent was filed on June 10, 2020, under Application No. 18/008,524.
