ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,392,077, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to Sharp K.K. (Sakai, Japan).
"Filter member and washing machine" was invented by Masaru Misumi (Sakai, Japan), Yui Kumon (Sakai, Japan) and Kohei Yamauchi (Sakai, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A filter member is detachably mounted in a filter case formed with an inflow port through which washing water flows in and an outflow port through which the washing water flows out. The filter member includes a rib-shaped portion partitioning through holes adjacent to each other. At least one of the through holes is inclined from an inner peripheral surface of the filter member."
