ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,313,591, issued on May 27, was assigned to Sharp Display Technology Corp. (Kameyama, Japan).
"Detector" was invented by Manabu Daio (Kameyama, Japan), Tomohiro Kosaka (Kameyama, Japan), Kei Ikuta (Kameyama, Japan), Yuuki Ootsuka (Kameyama, Japan) and Reshan Maduka Abeysinghe (Kameyama, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A detector includes a first electrode, second electrodes forming a flow path for charged particles between the first electrode and the second electrodes, third electrodes configured to collect the charged particles, and a fourth electrode having a sheet resistance higher than sheet resistances of the second electrodes. ...
