ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,337,583, issued on June 24, was assigned to Shanjin Optoelectronics (Suzhou) Co. LTD. (China).
"Optical laminate" was invented by Na Young Shin (Daejeon, South Korea), Kyun Il Rah (Daejeon, South Korea), Jin Seok Byun (Daejeon, South Korea) and Yeong Rae Chang (Daejeon, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An optical laminate or a reddening-resistant layer. The optical laminate does not cause a reddening phenomenon even when driven or maintained under extremely harsh conditions (e.g., very high temperature conditions), or a reddening-resistant layer applied thereto."
