ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,371,474, issued on July 29, was assigned to SHANGHAI VITALGEN BIOPHARMA Co. LTD. (Shanghai).

"Recombinant adeno-associated viral vectors for treating Bietti Crystalline Dystrophy" was invented by Lu Guo (Haidian, China), Yezheng Tao (Shanghai), Shin-Shay Tian (Shanghai), Bin Qu (Shanghai), Wei Li (Beijing), Xi Zhu (Shanghai) and Xiaoping Zhao (Shanghai).
