ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,734, issued on April 15, was assigned to SHAANXI UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (Shaanxi, China).

"Pleuromutilin onium salt derivative containing a 3H-imidazo[4,5-cpyridine side chain, and a preparation method and application thereof" was invented by Chengyuan Liang (Xi'an, China), Yanzi Wang (Xi'an, China), Kairui Kang (Xi'an, China), Bingxing Zhang (Xi'an, China), Wen Wang (Xi'an, China), Yunfei Zhang (Xi'an, China) and Mengzhou Wang (Xi'an, China).
