ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,284,787, issued on April 22, was assigned to SEW-EURODRIVE GMBH & Co. KG (Bruchsal, Germany).
"Electric appliance having a housing part" was invented by Franz Daminger (Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany) and Ralph Mayer (Ubstadt-Weiher, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electric appliance includes a housing part, and first, second, and third cooling fins are premolded or provided on the housing part. The housing part has a wall, e.g., a topside, and two side walls, and of the cooling fins extends along the wall and at least one of the side walls."
