ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,284,787, issued on April 22, was assigned to SEW-EURODRIVE GMBH & Co. KG (Bruchsal, Germany).

"Electric appliance having a housing part" was invented by Franz Daminger (Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany) and Ralph Mayer (Ubstadt-Weiher, Germany).
