ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,550,482, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to Seoul Viosys Co. Ltd. (Ansan-si, South Korea).

"Passivation covered light emitting unit stack" was invented by Chang Yeon Kim (Ansan-si, South Korea), Jong Hyeon Chae (Ansan-si, South Korea), Chung Hoon Lee (Ansan-si, South Korea), Seong Gyu Jang (Ansan-si, South Korea), Jong Min Jang (Ansan-si, South Korea) and Ho Joon Lee (Ansan-si, South Korea).
