ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,490,553, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to SEOUL VIOSYS Co. LTD. (Ansan-si, South Korea).

"Ultraviolet light emitting diode" was invented by Ju Yong Park (Ansan-si, South Korea), Seong Gyu Jang (Ansan-si, South Korea), Kyu Ho Lee (Ansan-si, South Korea) and Joon Hee Lee (Ansan-si, South Korea).
