ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,349,519, issued on July 1, was assigned to Seoul Semiconductor Co. Ltd. (Ansan-si, South Korea).

"Light emitting device" was invented by Myung Jin Kim (Ansan-si, South Korea), Kwang Yong Oh (Ansan-si, South Korea), Ki Bum Nam (Ansan-si, South Korea), Ji Youn Oh (Ansan-si, South Korea), Sang Shin Park (Ansan-si, South Korea) and Michael Lim (Ansan-si, South Korea).
