ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,371,816, issued on July 29, was assigned to SEOUL NATIONAL UNIVERSITY R&DB FOUNDATION (Seoul, South Korea) and GRAPHENE SQUARE INC. (Gy, South Korea).

"Metal-graphene composite" was invented by Yun Sung Woo (Yongin-si, South Korea), Byung Hee Hong (Suwon-si, South Korea) and Dong Jin Kim (Suwon-si, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure may provide a metal-graphene composite having excellent mechanical properties."
