US Patent Issued to Sekisul Kydex on Jan. 28 for "Systems and methods of pyrometric temperature measurement and control in dye sublimation" (Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 29 -- United States Patent no. 12,208,639, issued on Jan. 28, was assigned to Sekisul Kydex LLC (Bloomsburg, Pa.).

"Systems and methods of pyrometric temperature measurement and control in dye sublimation" was invented by Jeffrey Humenick (Bloomsburg, Pa.), Jym Kauffman (Bloomsburg, Pa.) and Rebecca Gallup (Bloomsburg, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An illustrative heating section of a dye sublimation machine may utilize a plurality of configurable pyrometers. The pyrometers may take the corresponding temperature measurements remotely without interacting with any mechanical moving parts of the dye sublimation machine and therefore may be more robust against breakage....
