ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,438,993, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to SEIKO EPSON Corp. (Tokyo).

"Ultrasonic device" was invented by Masayoshi Yamada (Shiojiri, Japan), Hikaru Iwai (Matsukawa-machi, Japan), Shigeaki Muramatsu (Nagano, Japan) and Toshiya Okada (Shiojiri, Japan).
