ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,466,968, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to SEIKO EPSON Corp. (Japan).

"Ink jet ink composition, ink set, recording method, and recording apparatus" was invented by Tetsuya Aoyama (Shiojiri, Japan), Satoshi Tsubamoto (Osaka, Japan) and Masahiro Yatake (Shiojiri, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An ink jet ink composition is provided which contains water, a (meth)acrylic resin, and a wax emulsion and which is a water-based clear ink, and the (meth)acrylic resin described above satisfies predetermined requirements."

The patent was filed on Oct. 30, 2023, under Application No. 18/497,063.
