ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,258,481, issued on March 25, was assigned to SEIKO EPSON Corp. (Japan).
"Dispersion liquid, ink composition for ink jet recording, and dispersing resin" was invented by Koichi Terao (Suwa, Japan), Mami Tojino (Shiojiri, Japan), Toshihiro Otake (Chino, Japan), Hiroshi Ito (Matsumoto, Japan) and Koji Horiba (Matsumoto, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A dispersion liquid includes water, a coloring material, and a dispersing resin which disperses the coloring material, in which the dispersing resin has a predetermined constituent unit A, a predetermined constituent unit B, and a predetermined constituent unit C."
