ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,545,800, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to SEIKO EPSON Corp. (Japan).
"Reaction liquid for pigment printing, ink set, and recording method" was invented by Daisuke Sakuma (Minowa, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A reaction liquid for pigment printing contains a polyvalent metal salt, a cationic polymer, a polyhydric alcohol, an alkali, and water. The alkali is an amine compound, and the reaction liquid is used by ejecting it by ink jet technology."
The patent was filed on Aug. 17, 2023, under Application No. 18/451,339.
