ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,277,917, issued on April 15, was assigned to SEIKO EPSON Corp. (Tokyo).
"Display method and display device" was invented by Hiromasa Yamada (Beppu, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A display method includes: presetting a display mode for displaying a setting screen; accepting an input of an image signal from an external device; and displaying the setting screen, when the image signal is inputted and it is determined that the display mode is in operation."
The patent was filed on Sept. 29, 2023, under Application No. 18/477,622.
