US Patent Issued to Seelos Therapeutics on July 29 for "Trehalose formulations and uses thereof" (New York Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,370,204, issued on July 29, was assigned to Seelos Therapeutics Inc. (New York).

"Trehalose formulations and uses thereof" was invented by Raj Mehra (New York), Warren Wasiewski (New York) and Gopal Krishna (New York).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to methods of treating or alleviating one or more symptoms of mucopolysaccharidoses in a subject, via administering a trehalose formulation to the subject."
