ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,257,281, issued on March 25, was assigned to Seagen Inc. (Bothell, Wash.).

"Hydrophilic antibody-drug conjugates" was invented by Svetlana Doronina (Snohomish, Wash.), Robert Lyon (Sammamish, Wash.) and Peter Senter (Seattle).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Hydrophilic Linkers, Drug-Linker compounds, Drug-Ligand Conjugate compounds and Ligand-Linkers and methods of making and using the same are provided."
