US Patent Issued to SE Tylose USA, Shin-Etsu Chemical on April 29 for "Pharmaceutical composition in solid extruded form" (American, Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,285,486, issued on April 29, was assigned to SE Tylose USA Inc and Shin-Etsu Chemical Co. Ltd. (Tokyo).

"Pharmaceutical composition in solid extruded form" was invented by Jiannan Lu (East Hanover, N.J.) and Sakae Obara (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A pharmaceutical composition including an extruded solid and one or more pharmaceuticals or nutraceuticals is provided. The extruded solid includes hydroxypropylmethylcellulose acetate succinate and isomalt."
