ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,345,743, issued on July 1, was assigned to Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG (Herzogenaurach, Germany).
"Current sensor" was invented by Linbo Tang (Baden-Baden, Germany), Thomas Lindenmayr (Biberbach, Germany) and Jianwu Zhou (Shanghai).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A current sensor comprises a magnetic field sensor and a T-shaped ferromagnetic structure having an air gap. The current sensor is arranged in a recess of a busbar."
The patent was filed on Dec. 2, 2020, under Application No. 17/789,785.
