ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,392,394, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG (Herzogenaurach, Germany).
"Planetary gearbox with thrust washer for two ring gears, axial ring gear support, thrust washer for a ring gear, and electric vehicle drive train with axially supported ring gears" was invented by Johann Averichev (Nuremberg, Germany), Sarah Sponsel (Aurachtal, Germany) and Peter Welker (Herzogenaurach, Germany).
