ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,239,107, issued on March 4, was assigned to Save The Bees LLC (Monroe City, Mo.).
"EMF shield for beehives" was invented by Robert C. Cumings (Perry, Mo.) and James F. Gibson (Edwards, Ill.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A bee hive apparatus with EMF shielding that increases the comfort and health of the bee colony by blocking EMF transmissions incident on the bee hive apparatus."
The patent was filed on Jan. 20, 2023, under Application No. 18/099,873.
