ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,411,140, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to SANOFI (Paris).

"Methods for characterizing compositions comprising peanut antigens" was invented by Kim Alving (Bridgewater, N.J.), Pierre deMontigny (Bridgewater, N.J.) and Bing Huang Wang (Bridgewater, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods for determining an in vitro release profile of peanut allergens in a sample are provided. Methods for determining one or more signatures of peanut allergens in a sample are provided."
