ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,534,729, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to SANFORD BURNHAM PREBYS MEDICAL DISCOVERY INSTITUTE (La Jolla, Calif.).
"Uses of synthetic lethal partners for treatment of cancer" was invented by Ze'ev A. Ronai (Escondido, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein are methods and compositions for diagnosing, treating, or ameliorating symptoms of cancer, including pancreatic cancer and melanoma, with Asparagine Synthetase (ASNS) synthetic lethal partners."
