ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,256,557, issued on March 18, was assigned to Sandisk Technologies Inc. (Milpitas, Calif.).

"Ovonic threshold switch selectors with electrodes including carbon and metal" was invented by Oleksandr Mosendz (Campbell, Calif.), James Reiner (Palo Alto, Calif.), Bruce Terris (Sunnyvale, Calif.) and John Read (San Jose, Calif.).
