ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,436,808, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS Co. Ltd. (Yongin-si, South Korea).

"CPU tight-coupled accelerator" was invented by Zhi-Gang Liu (Westford, Mass.), Jun Woo Jang (Santa Clara, Calif.), Sehwan Lee (Seongnam-si, South Korea) and Dongkyun Kim (Fremont, Calif.).
